IT services provider Odin Groep acquires the customer-specific hosting business for accountants from software company Exact. With this acquisition, Odin Groep increases its leading position as a managed services provider in the Netherlands. Odin Groep will take over the 17 employees and associated customer base.
The activities Odin Groep is taking over from Exact will offer accountancy firms in particular a full-service concept in IT. Arno Witvliet, recently CEO at Odin Groep, is pleased with this strategic move. "This is a nice step towards further growth in the Netherlands and it gives us a position in the accountancy market." According to Witvliet, it also fits into the growth strategy Odin Groep has in mind. "This allows us to expand our range of managed services in the Netherlands. We can serve our clients better, also in the future. Moreover, we gain a new client group and a nice club of employees with their knowledge and expertise."
The acquired unit will be fully integrated into Previder. Previder is a subsidiary of Odin Groep and provides IT solutions for the business market, healthcare institutions and corporations. So with this acquisition, a segment is now being added.
